Richard John Ricci

Ricci, Richard J (Rich) 80, of Lake St Louis, MO died peacefully on October 30, 2022.

He was born in NY, NY in 1942; graduated from Evander Childs High School in 1960, and went on to attend Pace University, NYC. He was the first to attend college in his family. While in College he enlisted into the Army National Guard and served 6 years.

Rich married his wife, Diana Cirrone from Bronx, NY in 1967. He worked very hard in the sales and marketing field for American Tobacco, as well as Crane National Vendors where he later became Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He retired at the age of 58 to spend time with his family and enjoy his grandkids.

Rich was very much a family man and would always be the first person to lend a hand to a neighbor or stranger in need. He had a huge heart and loved others. He had a great love for the outdoors and learned everything first hand just by trying. He always gave with his heart and never doubted his abilities. He took care of so many in our family, in our work places and in our lives. He always made others smile and had crazy nicknames for everyone he loved.

Rich is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diana; his two children, Elissa Ricci and Jennifer Kelly and son-in-law Keith Kelly; his 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, and Anthony; his sister, Annette Cicale of Chappaqua, NY. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Miro and Elizabeth Ricci, and his twin sister, Joyce LaMantia.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 21, 2022 at St. Gianna Catholic Church at 450 East Highway N Wentzville, MO 63385. Join us for a small lunch immediately following the Mass to honor Rich.  An intimate burial will be at Our Lady Cemetery immediately following the lunch.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Alzheimer's Association - Greater Missouri Chapter. The family of Rich Ricci wishes to thank the wonderful staff at St. Croix Hospice.
