Robert Evans

Robert Drake Evans - June 26, 1948 - Dec. 16, 2016. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the oldest son of the late Alma G. and Robert J. Evans. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine, Sons; Robert of Fairfax VA, Keith of St Louis, MO and a daughter, Danielle Werner also of St Louis, MO. Brother, Daniel St Louis Mo and two Grandsons, Jacob and Max Werner. Bob was just beginning to enjoy his new life in Aruba, where him and Lorraine were making their new home.

Bob was an Eagle Scout and served in the Army rank of Staff Sargent. He graduated from Lafayette College where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was a Metallurgical Engineer, first with Kawecki Berylco making safety tools from beryllium copper and then in St Louis with Engineered Metal Process, making slurry casings with aluminum and holding a patent for this process.

Bob was a hard working man who provided for his family while teaching his children to have values. He enjoyed fishing and snorkeling. He was good at fixing things and like woodworking.
