On April 27, 2023, the eldest son of Jerome and Betty Jean King, Robert Boyd King passed away peacefully due to natural causes in his home in Warrenton Missouri. Robert is survived by his four children: Andrew, Matthew, Samuel, and Elizabeth; his six grandchildren: Taylor, Brendan, Eleanor, Patricia, and Oliver, and soon to be born Gianna; and his three siblings Tammy, William, and Jerri.
Robert also known as: Rob, Bob, Coach, Robbie; was born in McHenry Illinois on October 9, 1963. He lived in several states across the United States throughout his lifetime including New York and Arizona, before finally settling down in Missouri for the last 20 years of his life. Robert had several passions in his life including: billiards, bowling, construction, family, God, movies, music, and musical theater. He was a kind and caring man who would give anyone the shirt off of his back. He was active in his community constantly building and doing electrical work, and his church where he would spend his weekends doing the audio and visual for every sermon. He was also a lover of learning and teaching. He spent most of his off time learning new trades and how to improve himself. He would also teach others how to improve their game, or how to build.
He will forever be missed by those who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on May 13, 2023 at Kelly’s One More Shot from 11am-3pm. There will be a microphone set up to share fond memories of Robert King. There is also an active GoFundMe drive set up to help with the financial toll of his untimely passing.
