Rosa Maria Stauffer

Our strong and sweet Mexican rose, Rosa Maria Jimenez Lopez de Stauffer transitioned peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018, while outside with sunlight on her face, surrounded by nature and her children, Rick (Sue) Stauffer and Erika Stauffer holding her hands. She is survived by many beloved siblings, siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Mexico City on December 7, 1944, she obtained a BA in Social Work and at age 23 moved to St. Louis, Missouri for love. A fashionista working at Famous Barr/Macy’s for 43 years, she helped her customers feel great on the beach or at an event. She was a wonderful cook and dancer, had a green thumb, loved angels, butterflies, telenovelas, the beach and believed “all doggies are good.”
