Roy B. Horton

Horton, Roy B. of O'Fallon, MO passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 73. Loving husband of 43 years to Susan Horton (nee Huellewig)); father of Kimberly Horton, Timothy Horton, Tracie Axley (nee: Horton) and Anthony Horton; grandfather of 9 children. Roy was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Horton and his parents Beverly R. Wells and Ruth Horton (nee: Ratliff) and his step-father, Walter Horton.

Roy was a private person. In his younger years, he was a credit to his trade as a mechanic, but in recent years he was confined to a wheelchair due to a stroke. He loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. He interacted with the outside world and his friends through Facebook and email and enjoyed watching movies on Netflix. He was a lover of large dogs and would always carry a treat in his pocket for his sweet companion, Sadie. He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00am at Our Lady Catholic Cemetery in Lake St. Louis, MO. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the graveside service at:

Services are being provided by the Cremation Society of Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Horton Family.
