Shannon K. Bowen

Shannon Kay Bowen of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 37 on Monday, November 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Schulten.

Shannon is survived by her grandmother, Kay Weiss; uncle Michael; nephews, Christian and Luca; best friends, Jill (Dave) Streckfuss, Matt “Emmy” Watson, and Rachel Poteetl and her fur babies, Jaxon and Willow.

Shannon was an artistic soul who had a deep connection to nature and loved spending her time outdoors on a hike. She had a special place in her heart for animals – especially for her beloved dogs, Jaxon and Willow. Shannon always had a passion for music, sharing a great meal with others, and loved her friends and family more than anything. For everyone, Shannon was a ray of light on a gloomy day whose smile and laugh would light up a room. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Shannon’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
