Terry Colter

Terry Lee Colter (nee: Thomas) of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of 52 years to Jim Colter; cherished daughter of Gerald D. (deceased) and Rosemary Thomas; devoted mother of Richard Colter, Gerald (Krista) Colter, Bill (Denise) Colter; loving grandmother of Jessica Colter, Kailee Colter, J.T. Colter, Joe Colter, and Blake Becker; dear sister of Judy (Jim) Korte; and adored aunt of Matthew (Nicki) Korte, and Michelle (Tim) Loftus.

Terry dedicated more than 17 years with Delmar Gardens as an administrative assistant before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards, travelling, and especially cruising and going to the beach. The Caribbean, Florida and the Lake were favorite destinations. Terry dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her in return.

Memorials may be made in Terry’s name to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
