Stevison, Vincent John, 73, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on May 22, 2020.
Vincent was born in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1965. He once owned Glas-Tek with his brother Jim. He was also in flooring sales for many years, and was the first individual to retire from United Carpet in May of 2012.
Vincent loved spending time with his friends and family. If there was a family function of any sort he could always be counted upon to attend. He used to enjoy strolling the neighborhood and checking in with his friends and neighbors. His love of cars was known by many and made him an inspiration to any car enthusiast. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, often attending as many school and extra-curricular functions as possible. Vincent always put the needs of others before his own. This went for loved ones and acquaintances alike. His presence brightened up every room he entered, and his absence at future family functions, holidays and the like will be felt by many. He will be greatly missed.
Vincent is survived by his children, Michael (Claire) Stevison, Laura (Scott) Zangraft, and Mary Queen-Rogers; his grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Scott, Rowan, and Vinnie; dear brother of Richard Stevison, John-Michael Stevison, Jim Stevison, and Dorothy (Randy) Dean.
Vince is preceded in death by his father, Vincent E. Stevison and his mother, Dorothy K. Stevison(Knoll).
A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne on June 19, 2020 at 10:30AM. We will be following The Archdiocesan Guidelines for Social Distancing and ask that masks be worn throughout the building.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the APDA (American Parkinson Disease Association) by mail to 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10305 or online at www.apdaparkinson.org. The family of Vincent Stevison wishes to thank Vitas Healthcare and The Villages of Saint Peters for the wonderful care they provided him through the end stages of his life.
