William M. Hindle Jr.

William (Bill) Matthew Hindle Jr, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the age of 64. 

Cherished son of William Matthew Hindle Sr, step-son of Wanda Hindle, and son of the late Marilyn Miller (Emerson), devoted father of Koda Lochlan and William Mathew Hindle III, step-father of Megan Sona, dear brother of Douglas (Kathleen) Hindle, and uncle of Sarah (Mark) Lange and the late Jordan Hindle, step-brother of Annette Maxedon and the late Randy Workman. 

William was a member of Morning Star Church in Dardiene Prarie. He was proud of his achievement as an Eagle Scout and was active until he joined the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) at Southeast Missouri State college. Upon graduation, he immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force as an officer in their flight training program. He was married to Angela Hindle from 1992 to 2013. He worked as a restaurant manager and factory worker before becoming a full-time stay at home dad. 

He enjoyed camping and spending time with his children outdoors and encouraging their early sporting activities. Later in life, he struggled with health issues, but he never lost his love of spending time with family, talking, and sharing stories with his ever present peanut M&M’s always close at hand. He will be remembered for his social nature and the sense of humor he never lost. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

A memorial service for family and close friends is planned for mid July.
