Jaworowski Jr, William John, 85, of Wentzville, MO, died on June 1, 2024. Bill was born in St. Louis, MO and lived there his entire life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS McCaffery from 1958 – 1961. Bill and Barbara were married on September 28, 1963, lived in Ballwin, MO, and raised three children together. Bill had a passion for cars, as a member of the Sports Car Club, working at DeBrecht Imports, and retiring from a career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his kids and grandkids-whether helping to purchase, sell, or fix a car, there was always a steady line waiting for his help. When Bill finally retired from Enterprise, he took up his second passion-sailboats. He was able to spend many years sailing his boat on Carlyle Lake in Illinois. Bill is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Barbara (nee Kramer); his children: Christine (Jeffrey) Heideman, Michael (Mindy) Jaworowski, and Catherine (Wally) Loeffelmann; his beloved grandchildren: Alexis, William, Jacob, and Christopher; dear brother of Kathleen (Fred) Tonnies and Mary (Richard) Sato; dear brother-in-law to James Gibilterra Sr; dear uncle to many nephews and nieces. Bill was preceded in death by his parents William and Eleanor Jaworowski; his dear sister Gloria Gibilterra; and his dear brother Jimmy Jaworowski. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wentzville, MO, on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 am. Reception will follow at the Church. A military service will take place at Jefferson Barracks at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Disabled Veterans or a charity of your choice.
